I am a licensed property and casualty agent. I have 39 years of experience in insurance. I am a Bedford County native and I take pride in our agency and serving people. We, at Bedford Mutual Insurance Agency treat our clients as people not as another number on the books. We are honest, caring individuals who work hard for your trust and confidence. “I have been with Bedford Mutual Insurance Agency for 22 years. I am licensed in property and casualty and life and health. I have lived in Bedford County all of my life and now live and work in the southside of the county. Some of the areas I serve include, but are not limited to: Huddleston, Lynch Station, Moneta, Smith Mountain Lake, and as far as Altavista, Gretna, and Hurt. I take Pride in finding the best deals and coverage’s for my clients.   I work hard to make sure my clients are satisfied and get the service they deserve no matter what day of the week or time of day. Sheila’s tenure with Bedford Mutual is new and very recent as she came to work here in Sept. 2019.  While new to the insurance industry, her skills and prior work experience  is well utilized now in her position with us as bookkeeper and payroll. 

She also enjoys answering the phone, taking payments and waiting on customers.  Meeting clients and helping to know they have a peace of mind with their home and assets is an enjoyable part of her new job.  Sheila is a Bedford County native and after working in Rustburg is glad to be back in Bedford.

 

John Waff , a licensed agent is new to Bedford Mutual Insurance Agency as he came to work here in Sept. 2019.  While being new at our agency, he is certainly not new to the insurance field. He has 27 years of experience and owned his own agency prior to retiring in 2019.  Very shortly after retiring, he continued to receive calls from clients and people still wanting him to help them get insurance and protect their home and auto.  

He enjoys people and helping them and was not quite ready to stop and stay at home.  He continues as a part time agent with us and invites you to call him for a quote on home, auto, farm or mobile home.  John has a genuine heart for helping others save money while getting your very best protection.
